I bought the 45 of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" back in 1988. I listened to it on a record player that looked just like this one.
I've seen VH1's Poison: Behind the Music about a zillion times. My real 80s hair band crush was (blush) C.C. Deville, but Bret Michaels was a guyliner's width close second.
I was pretty shocked to read that Bret Michaels is currently in critical condition in a Los Angelos hospital undergoing treatment for a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Lots of people are worried about him too. Here's a link to his website which as of this posting just looks like a word document because it apparently can't support all the traffic. I am blown away by what has happened in the last 10 days or so! I have been watching Celeb Apprentice and he is still on it while lying in a coma or something in ICU! Last week he had an emergency apendectomy and now this!

He was in Fort Worth the night before he had the appendix problem. I begged my husband to take me to the show, but we didn't go. Wish we had.
Even though his taste in woman is pretty yucky, there is something about him that you can tell is totally genuine. The kind of guy who would do whatever he could for you. Kinda makes him hot, no?

what a nice post...i can't believe all that has happened to him! as a fellow diabetic, that is enough to deal with, let alone all this extra stuff!
Poor Brett! Rough time he's had. Hope he is on the mend very soon!
