Wishin' and Hopin'

It will be at least four months before I have sand in my hair and ocean breezes lightly wafting on my skin. I have to wait what seems like an eternity before I am tossed about by rhythmic waves. It sure doesn't stop me from wishin'.

It has been many months since my toes have looked like this. It will probably be about four more months before they look this way again. Since I hate for anyone to touch my feet, I am on my own. This look presented to you by the combined efforts of Lipstick, Sally Hansen super-duper strong cuticle remover, and the hottest shower I've ever taken. I am really hopin' that works again (oh, and also that I can find those Eliza B flip flops too).

I hope y'all have a fabulous weekend.

Regarding the previous post...
What local commercials have you grown up with and loved? I lost a follower (boo hoo sniff sniff) and it occurred to me that someone may have taken offense. Actually it is a fun and funny childhood memory of...oh, probably everyone in Shelby and all surrounding counties in the 80s. Hope that makes sense. Now get up close to God.

Your shoes are cute, and so are you:). Don't take the follower shift to heart. Sometimes people clean house and it has nothing to do with us. Took me a while to figure this out, but now I'm pretty sure it's true. And, even if it isn't 100% true, it makes us feel better so let's all pretend together...

now I am wishing for the beaches.

Your toes look so cute. I do my own toes every two weeks and I LOVE for them to look great just like yours do!!! I cannot wait to be on the beach. We live in CO, but I will be on a beach in FL this spring and I cannot wait!!!

Oh and do not worry about the follower-sometimes people delete blogs or readers..or like me I say something wrong and lose someone...but if they cannot handle me, then I did not want them anyhow!

I was beachin it 2 months ago, but it seems like so much longer! I'm dreaming of Destin in August. That sounds ridiculously far away. *sigh*

I got upset over losing some followers. Then I thought why in the world does this make me upset? It's funny how that lil tid bit seems such a huge deal.

Very cute flip-flops! I haven't seen those before and I'm off to google them now!

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. You are so right, and then crazy enough I have gotten a new follower this morning which has totally made my day, but, it is so hard to keep your blogger-self from living and dying by that number...you are right...I must resist that. Great wisdom, y'all. Many, many thanks.

Hey, here's an idea. If you write a post about something like, The 10 Top Things You Do Wrong With Your Prescriptions, or whatever, you know that kind of post, I will Tweet it! Maybe we can get you a few more followers. Not that it matters, but it sure feels good:).

@Jennifer@3sonsanddaughters...ok, so Mommy Lipstick was reading the comments and sent me an email that said, "Sweetie, Cajun Shrimp is an OPI colour. That's what she meant." oops. Gettin' schooled on OPI by your mom...priceless.

Oooh. Looking forward to it, if it works for you. Like, what can I do better to get the most of out of my relationship with my pharmacist, or my prescriptions, or whatever. I always feel so feeble around medicine.

I'm ready for spring and flip flops! All the snow is melted and I've been staring at my winter neglected toes. The pic in your post has inspired me to get them ready for spring and all pretty again!

I'm longing for the beach, as well- we missed our annual beach vacation last summer. Can't wait to make up for it this year!

By the way, on Tuesday I tagged you for an award on my blog- sorry for waiting until today to let you know. Happy Thursday!
