Playing outside 'til dark.
Sleeping late the next morning.
A birthday party that featured a magician and a REAL rabbit.
A football game for Mr. Lipstick and JBB; Mexican food for Pretty Girl and me.
Breakfast on the patio and a few hours at the park this morning.
Naps in the afternoon.
Work and school tomorrow morning.
Trying not to whine about it tonight.
Currently on the second glass of (plum) wine.

Bitter sweet. Summer is my favorite season, but I do enjoy fall and then of course...Thanksgiving and Christmas time (the most wonderful time of the year)!!
I am so sad, too! Hopefully, it will still be warm for a few weeks and I can still pretend that it's summer!

Oh, I know sweetie. The weekend was way to short. But we all seem to have packed a lot of fun into a short time. Just think, the weekend is only four days away.

Look on the bright side....fall is here!
You know, almost all of life is one thing ending another thing beginning. I could be a perpetual state of rueful joy if I didn't have to go to the grocery store and mow the lawn...Sometimes it is the relentless parade of tasks that saves us from existential everything.
Life and Seasons sure move quickly... now we will have to ENJOY Fall!
