There are many things that can make me feel old. For example, filling a birth control pill prescription for a patient born in 1990 makes me feel old. Seeing that a lot of my Facebook buddies have children who are teenagers also makes me feel old. Nothing, however, makes me feel aged like looking in my medicine cabinet and seeing this lovely collection of gastrointestinal relief products.
Why is it that every single morsel of food and drop of liquid either causes my chest to burn, my tummy to bloat, or my butt to sing? It is patently unfair for my precious Diet Dr. Pepper to make me look five months pregnant. Ok, I'm through ranting...it's potty time.

It gets worse.
Sorry.
:(
Okay, you do not seem old at all to me! Hang in there and keep praying for the best!
OMG...I so feel ya.
My cabinet isn't much better!
I feel the same way - it just does not seem fair!
Glad to know that it isn't just me...
Oh no. This is not good news.
no, da old man, say it ain't so!
Girl I understand....My husband and I spent like $50 tonight just on antacids......We are stocked up but man I could think of alot better things I would rather spend $50 on!!
"It gets worse..."?????? Waaaahhhh!
Sadly, a few nights ago we said asked the Consort, "Do you remember when we could eat anything we wanted? Anything? No repercussions. And now if we even look at it, we're miserable?" Harrumph.
You may want to advise Da Old Man we are going to have to hunt him down and destroy him... that is not news we wanted to hear.
You have synthesized our lives perfectly, in just two paragraphs.
Grins & giggles for your weekend,
tp
That is too funny=) I left you something on my blog!
Are you kidding me? 90s babies are old enough for birth control? Stop the world - I want to get off!
Aww honey, I feel your pain. I am having a horrible time with my tummy too.
Oh, Presh--I hear you. I'm 31 and have already had a colonoscopy for what I affectionally call my "pooper problems" (was that too much information?). Everything I eat upsets my intestines. I never leave the house without Pepto Bismol tablets, and I take papaya enzymes by the handful after I eat. You are not alone. My handbag and medicine cabinet look like yours.
Hang in there.
with love from Pittsburgh...
