Quid Pro Quo

Whew, I am so tired. I know, who isn't tired on Monday nights, but I tell you what...I am extra super tired.

This is the sort of tired that *may* cause me to go to bed early, which normally would make me grouchy. Except that I am tired. Did I mention that? Oh, sorry.

Monday Night Fatigue is particularly frustrating because I have lots of fun weekend things about which I am dying to blog. It's like having a big giant gift card to your favorite store and then not finding anything you want to buy.

There is one bit of news though that just can't wait. It involves secret negotiations, under the table bargaining, and perhaps a wee bit of manipulation. Nevertheless a settlement was reached, favors have been granted, and consent has been given...in other words, I GOT MY YARD SIGN!!!

ETA: Oh y'all. Remember the Rolls Royce from a few posts ago? We saw it on Saturday evening and would you believe it belongs to one of our neighbors?! (Disclaimer: This makes me sound way fancier than I actually am, and as always, I am OK with that).

You'll be like that woman from "Keeping Up Appearances" coming up with a way to work into all conversations that your neighbor has a Rolls that they will indirectly get the idea you live in the "Estates" side of town. LOL...

Love the yard sign! Wish my neighborhood allowed yard signs. This place would be filled with McCain / Palin signs!

And what a marvelous yard sign it is.

I will be so happy next Wed. when all of this CRAP is over.

The Rolls is your neighbor's? I would totally be asking for some rides in that thing.

Living in PA and STILL undecided! I need a post on "Why I Should Vote For McCain" :)

I will be glad when it is all over, because I am sooo ovet it.

I voted Saturday to avoid the mad rush on tuesday! and plus since the oldest is out of school I will have 3 kids that day.

I did not vote for your sign guy, but don't worry I didn't vote for that other guy either. I voted for someone else, someone who more than likely is not gonna win but I like him and vote with what I believe. I HATE that the voices of the others are not heard and they make it as though you only have 2 choices, well I am here to say you don't.

But don't worry just because I don't 100% agree with your sign doesn't mean I won't be back:)

I want a sign! Where do I get one? Do I just walk in to my local Republican Party office and ask for one, or what?

Melodie...thanks for your question!

Yes, you can just go to your local Republican headquarters and purchase a sign. Mine cost $3. You can also stock up on bumper stickers and hats and shirts... :)

I have so much admiration for you, girl - I haven't 'gone there' in declaring my McCain support because the whole blogosphere seems to be pro-Obama and I didn't want to lose any readers!!!! You rock. Awesome term from Morewineplease: coming out of the closet"

This is why I'm not worried. We McCain supporters aren't loud, we aren't celebrities, we aren't skwawking at everyone to register....we're just all gonna show up on Nov 4th and get'er done.
:)
