How is it possible...
that Pretty Girl can wake up exactly 45 minutes before my alarm is set to go off
then become so utterly pacified with a small bit of milk that she glides back into sleep,
but my mind is wide awake creating its own worries,
and then falls asleep exactly 3 minutes before my alarm actually goes off?

Same things happen here, too. Except both of my kids are in cahoots together.
This happens every day to me. My kids wake up, wake me up, then go back to sleep. And I am still up. It pisses me off, I tell ya!
Don't worry about those gray hairs - I think I found one when I was 19! Everyone has one :)

argh, the torture of the alarm clock! if it makes you feel any better, our new cat starts trying to wake us at 4:30am.
Can I get an AMEN to that one? Tes wakes up and after a sip of formula sleeps for another hour and a half. While I lay there!

Damn, girl. At least you get up only 45 minutes before! Ray wakes me up around 4 am every morning - 2 1/2 hrs early! She of course goes right back down just like yours, and I am stuck with my brain going in circles about work/bills/life in general!
