Sunday Stuff

I am so tired. I really should rest up for Monday's busyness on Sunday night, but I never do that. I usually want to have as much fun crammed in the weekend as possible. This got me thinking about Sunday routines.

Growing up we had church, then a big family dinner cooked by Nonna (I have no idea how she managed that every single Sunday...and no convenience foods either), then a nap, and then back to church.

Nowadays we are Presbyterian and mercifully do not have Sunday night church. Today was like this: chuch, Target for school supplies (I got Pretty Girl some giant crayons and the cutest Hello Kitty notebook for me-not that we were the one who needed school supplies, but you know how Target is-we just had to have it), sandwich wraps for lunch (my fave right now-love tomato basil wraps, roast beef, swiss cheese, and a Dijon mustard slaw), nap, time at the pool, Sonic for a quick and indulgent supper, and bathtime for the kiddies and laundry/clean house time for me. (Hey, Mamalicious, you'd be proud...all the beds have clean sheets).

What are your Sunday routines? Do you race out the door to church or do you attend the Church of the Clean Sheets? I know how it is...we went through a phase where we were devoted parishioners of Select Comfort United. Do you like to get brunch, watch movies, drive around, shop? One thing's for sure...I'll bet everyone is pretty sad that it's all over.

when I'm at home its usually sleep until whenever, have mummsie make me pancake breakfast, read 2 sections of the paper (the cutesie sunday times stuff haha nothing hard core), then shopping, and home to just kind of chill.

at school its sleep over the night before, hopefully end up in own bed, somehow get down to delish waffle breakfast before its over at 3, do nothing productive until midnight when its time to start studying for the most likely test the next morning haha.

oh the life of a college student!

I'm unfortunately in a Church of Wally-World before everybody else gets there... And every Sunday I'm thinking, man, I need to get the guys ready and find a church... It'll happen. Funny, though, Sunday must have been Target day. I also went to Target to get Mystery Man's soccer stuff...

sleep in till my husband forces me out of bed, and then it's to the gym or the beach if it's nice! But it doesn't matter how good sunday is, it always leaves me wanting one more day...

Insted of church we just try to spend the day with nature. Always try to make dinner early. Mondays are always depressing.

Oh this is fun!
Church every Sunday, and depending on if I am teaching or not sometimes we are there from 9 - Noonish.. Hubby also drums for the church.
Then it's lunch at home.. long nap for the Diva, Drama Queen is typically outside with friends... I do laundry, clean, read or play online... then to Chilli's for dinner! Bath and then Bed.. and the wine bottle opens :)

There's so much pressure on Sundays to do something fun to make the weekend count! I feel the same as you- Sunday nights are just sad!
