I am Lipstick.

I am...
very southern - I was born and raised in The South. I lived here 23 years before even travelling above the Mason Dixon Line.

mostly preppy - I love pink and green. I was educated in private schools from age 5 to age 22, but none of them are listed in The Official Preppy Handbook. I adore the beach, but have never "summered" anywhere. I do have some clothes that are Nantucket Red, but alas they were faded not while digging for clams, but by the fine folks at J. Crew.

grown up only child - I am an only child and (gasp!) an only grandchild on my mother's side. It took me a long time to grow up. Mr. Lipstick deserves much of the credit.

working wife - Pharmacist since 2002 and married to Mr. Lipstick since 1997.

mommy of two - Our son JBB and our daughter Pretty Girl began transforming out lives in 2003 and 2007, respectively. Since then life has been more rich, more beautiful, and more precious than I remotely deserve.

who is never, ever without lipstick - lipstick, Chap Stick, lip gloss, lip stain. I cannot tolerate the sensation of bare lips. Ever.

One more itty bitty bit of absolutely essential information...I have had a crush on Sylvester Stallone since 1982.
